Overview of research projects
Over the past years, IPSR and Utrecht University have jointly conducted a set of innovative online studies that focused on non-premeditated risk-taking and its determinants among men who have sex with men.
In 2004, two cross sectional studies were simultaneously initiated in the Netherlands (n=1.700) and in France (n=3.300) using the motto "Test your sex drive online". From 2005-06, these investigations were extended with two online prospective cohort studies: www.gayin.nl 
in the Netherlands (n=500) and www.cohortegay.fr in France (n-=7.500). A total of 13.000 men participated to the research program which results contributed to renew the understanding of sexual risk taking in MSM.
